Beth is a recovering academic who can't believe her good fortune: now, instead of correcting exams, "homework" involves playing games, and social theory has been swapped for ludology. She holds a Ph.D. and M.A. from the University of California-Irvine in Law & Society, and a B.A. from Indiana University in psychology (emphasis in learning theory and neuropsychology). Beth, AKA Dr. Quinn, spent fourteen years teaching Sociology and Justice Studies. Strangely, it all comes in handy in her position as Filament's Research Director. When not compulsively checking her emails, she entertains her inner artist (blues guitar, photography, blogging, cooking, gardening). Yeah, it's all art.
