As 2025 comes to a close, we’re taking a moment to reflect on the work we shipped and the partners we built with. This year’s releases span civics, science, early literacy, mixed reality, and digital safety, each grounded in clear learning goals and designed to meet learners where they are. Below is a look at just some of the games we launched this year and the problems they were built to solve.
Made in partnership with iCivics, Investigation Declaration places students in the role of Secret Agent 6 as they investigate a global crime involving the theft and corruption of ideas tied to freedom, democracy, and rights. Players travel across the Atlantic World and more than a century of history, examining primary sources that connect Enlightenment philosophy to the United States Declaration of Independence and its aftermath. Through evidence gathering and analysis, students trace the spread of ideas like natural rights, state sovereignty, and the social contract while restoring compromised records within the Bureau of Ideas.

That’s a wrap for 2025! As we look back, we’re proud of the range of learners these projects serve and the partners who helped bring them to life. We’re carrying those lessons forward into the work ahead, continuing to focus on thoughtful design, strong learning outcomes, and games that respect both players and the contexts they’re used in. Have a safe holiday and a Happy New Year!
