Hey Filafriends! Today we’re turning our attention to an important topic – namely, financial literacy. Indeed, as tax season approaches and W2s make their way out into the world, it’s a poignant reminder that financial literacy is a mandatory skill for human life – and yet, the subject of financial literacy is sometimes overlooked in school curricula. As luck would have it, our friends at Intuit recently tapped us to create a game that helps to solve this problem. We’re excited to announce Intuit’s launch of Credit Climber, a narrative financial literacy game created for the Intuit Hour of Finance Challenge – which kicks off today! You can learn more here:

Intuit’s Credit Climber helps students explore the compounded impact that micro money decisions have on their credit score and financial goals. As students mentor a friend through real-world scenarios, they can experience the risk and reward of utilizing credit, while learning about concepts like debt and interest.
Through the Hour of Finance Challenge, Intuit is challenging educators nationwide to bring one hour of financial literacy into the classroom and make today’s generation the most financially confident yet. Intuit’s 3rd annual Hour of Finance Challenge will run from today February 23 through April 15, 2026.
